Library Alive Concert XI – A Scholastic Swing at the Sherman Theater with the COTA Festival Orchestra and Special Guest Soloist/Clinician TBA

This eleventh Library Alive event, dubbed “Scholastic Swing 4 at the Sherman Theater,” will offer a unique educational experience for young jazz musicians from Pocono area school districts. Three student bands will prepare to perform music from the ACMJC library and will be participants in an afternoon workshop/clinic with Pocono musicians and the guest professional. Later, in the opening set that evening, the bands will perform their tunes with the guest soloist. The concert will close with a swinging set by the master musicians of the COTA Festival Orchestra.
